Join us for The Collective's March Souper Sunday! Each month a guest speaker will offer a discussion on a topic that relates to social justice and/or human rights and The Collective will provide delicious homemade soups.
This month we are very excited to be joined by Samantha Cullen-Fry. Samantha is an enrolled member of the Narragansett Indian Tribe and is the Indigenous Empowerment Network Coordinator at Tomaquag Museum. Samantha’s role is to help facilitate relationships that create a catalyst for economic change within the Native Community. Coming from the town of Narragansett and having bi-racial parents, Samantha has a unique perspective when it comes to the fight for racial and social justice and privilege. Her work is focused on the Indigenous community because she feels that the Indigenous voice in this county has been systematically silenced for so long but the voices of the people have never been silent.
